This photo (from John Oxley Library/State Library of Queensland - via Eddie Coates) shows a Simmonds Spartan which may be VH-UMP(c/n28).Place & date of photo not known . The small logo on the cowling says "Sky Travel". Any confirmation(or otherwise) of this is welcome.
THe photo above appeared in Flight in 1930 showing the first ski-equipped Spartan.Clearly visible under the wings the registration N43xxx. Can anyone identify this aircraft?.

This ticket for a joyride was issued by Spartan Airlines or United Airways at Stanley Park Blackpool in August 1935.Can anyone shed any further light on this?(From Keith Wigglesworth)
