where you will find full details,maps, companies and military units based, etc .etc.
AIRSTRIPS Etc. This category covers the many private airstrips and helicopter landing site that have ,or do exist
within Hampshire.
MANUFACTURERS:The county has seen the coming ,and going ,of many well known names in the aircraft manufacturing world.
Supermarine,Vickers,Fairey,De Havilland ,Airspeed and many others have come and gone.
Today there are no major aircraft manufacturing sites in Hampshire,although component manufacture still involves a few small sites.
